ZZ-R grade SILICONE

Military Grade solid silicone sheet

Our ZZ-R-765 (AA 59588) solid silicone sheet meet the requirements of U.S. General Service Administration (GSA) class 2 specifications. Military and Aerospace engineers need silicone with high temperature resistance, crack resistance and flex resistance for various seals, vibration-isolating applications. We offer our ZZ-R grade silicone in solid rubber sheets and from 40-80 durometer.

ZZ-R-765E (A-A-59588) CL 2A/2B

  • This solid silicone sheet is complaint with Federal specification ZZ-R-765E 2A for high temperature resistance in 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 shore A durometer hardness values.
  • This solid silicone sheet is complaint with Federal specification ZZ-R-765E 2B for high temperature resistance and low compression set in 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 shore A durometer hardness values.
  • ZZ-R-765E (A-A-59588) is a specification that covers three classes of silicone rubber in various grades. Class 2 is a reference to where resistance to extreme high temperature is required (to approximately 219°C (425°F)). Class 2 silicone material possesses low temperature resistance but only to anout -62°C (-80°F). Class 2B material also possesses low compression set.
